to Forest Grove in 1989. She translated books into
Braille. Survivors include her niece, Irene C.
Hughes; and five nephews. Arrangements by Fuiten

William Morgan Drops Dead William Morgan, age 71 years dropped
dead at the home of his son, Amos Morgan, of near Springbrook,
Oregon, January 1.
Mr. Morgan came from Missouri to Oregon in 1884 and lived in
Washington county 25 years. Those who are left to mourn his loss are
his daughter, Mrs. Bert Warner, and son, Amos Morgan. A number of
grandchildren cousins and friends.
Interment was made in the Pleasant Hill cemetery. Rev. J. W.
Eldredge officiated. Hodson and Elliott, undertakers of Newberg had
charge of the funeral.
