Born:  July 3, 1922 Died:  Dec. 10, 2003 Burial Date:  Unknown
Ledger Notes:    Age: 80 Yrs., 5 Mos., 7 Days      Ashes
Other Notes:  "Joe" Taylor was the primary "keeper" of the cemetery for many years. He handled the business of plots & the map records as well as used his tractor to dig and cover the graves. He ran the Taylor family farm (located on Baker Road n. of Tooze). The hill descending toward the creek and Sherwood was referred to as the "Joe Taylor Hill", since the sharp corner and the odd bank of the turn made it especially tricky in ice or snow. Many motorists ended up in the ditch in front of Joe's farmhouse, and Joe used his tractor to pull out the cars. Contributed by Stephen Baker, a local neighbor  310-490-8510  sgb90210 at aol.com
